Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

We're committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to shop, read, and reach us regardless of how they browse the web.

Conformance standard

This site is designed to substantially conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard used to assess digital accessibility. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to make content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities — including blindness, low vision, deafness, hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these.

What we've done

Across the site you'll find:

  • A keyboard skip-link so you can jump past the navigation
  • Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a logical heading order
  • Accessible labels on every icon button and form field
  • A visible focus indicator on every interactive element
  • Live-region announcements for cart updates and status messages
  • Honoring the operating system's prefers-reduced-motion setting — animations and auto-rotating carousels are disabled when you've requested less motion
  • Pause controls on auto-advancing content
  • Color combinations that target a 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text
  • Image alt text for content images and decorative aria-hidden markers for ornamental graphics
  • Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Compatibility with the latest assistive technologies on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some third-party apps and embedded widgets (reviews, chat, payments) are controlled by their providers and may not meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We continue to push our vendors to improve.
  • Some older blog posts may use images that lack alt text. We're working through them.
  • PDF documents are being progressively replaced with accessible HTML.

If you encounter a barrier we haven't listed, please tell us — your feedback is the fastest way for us to fix it.

Assessment approach

This statement is based on a self-evaluation of the site against WCAG 2.1 AA. We test with the latest versions of NVDA, VoiceOver, and the keyboard alone, and we run automated checks using axe-core during development.
